Effective immediately, the 394th Judicial District Court, under Judge Monty Kimball, will strictly enforce Texas Government Code § 62.0141 regarding jury service compliance.
Pursuant to state law, any individual who is legally summoned for jury duty in this court and fails to appear without a lawful excuse will be subject to a $500 fine.
